BrokerFlats Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“BrokerFlats”, “we”, “our”) operates the BrokerFlats platform available at brokerflats.com and related mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, property preferences), information generated through your use of our platform (search history, saved properties, contact enquiries), and technical information (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies). We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, or any financial account information directly — those interactions happen between you and third-party service providers.

We use your information to: • Provide, maintain, and improve our platform • Match you with relevant properties and brokers • Send transactional emails and property alerts you opt into • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security • Comply with legal obligations under Indian law (IT Act 2000 and IT Rules 2021) • Analyse aggregate usage to improve our recommendations engine
3. Information Sharing
We share your contact details with a broker only when you explicitly initiate contact (clicking "Contact Broker" or submitting an enquiry form). We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who process it on our behalf (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use first-party cookies for session management and preference storage. We use third-party analytics (anonymised) to understand platform usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not function correctly without them.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@brokerflats.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of BrokerFlats after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
